The Visionary Method For Christian Practice –The Social Life Series

‘The Visionary Method For Christian Practice’ (The VMFCP) is a light-hearted,  engaging and effective form of Christian education that was created by me,  Chinasom Uzodimma Elekwachi, based on my background in teaching (Master of Teaching Secondary), which is partly grounded in  psychology. ‘The Visionary Method For Christian Practice –The Social Life Series’  was specifically designed to help understand and naturally adopt pro-social Christian thinking, behaviour and conduct (a  Christian mindset and lifestyle). The Christian mindset and lifestyle is about how to be a genuinely good person, and how to be genuinely good towards other people (sympathy, empathy and basic love), whether they are family, friends, co-workers, your boss, employees or good Christian strangers.  Hence, ‘The VMFCP – The Social Life Series’ teaches people about the basics of life in common, relatable and necessary areas like faith, relationships, overcoming different forms of hatred, self-accountability, and financial responsibility.  To be clear, the 'social' part of the title is a play on the word 'pro-social', which means to have and display pro-social behaviour, which can be equated to the christian concept of love (1 Corinthians 1:13).

Just like The IPT/APT*, ‘The VMFCP – The Social Life Series’ makes use of a wide range of adult international movies and televisions series, which helps the students make connections between Biblical concepts, unrighteousness (sins), righteousness (good behaviour), and natural human behaviour in relevant real-life scenarios. The use of movie and television clips is very helpful when guiding students through the process of repentance because the simple, yet detailed contextual explanations help them to clearly understand the difference between right and wrong in relation to social behaviour, which people seem not to grasp so easily (poor self-reflective skills and biased self-view). ‘The VMFCP – The Social Life Series’ was designed specifically for the “end of the age”  – yet its lessons are timeless, and it caters to the moral development and learning needs of new Christians. Therefore, ‘The VMFCP – The Social Life Series’ is considered the first standard formal education curriculum for Christian people who do not hold positions of authority within the Body of Christ (most people). Hence, the curated sequence of simplified Christian lifestyle knowledge focuses on bringing out the best in each person though their active participation in its 10-part Christian education session that includes some tasks, class discussion and interactive components that relate to the scenes used for educational purposes.

  • NOTE: 'The VMFCP-The Social Life Series', The APT/IPT and other trainings include a range of media clips from a very popular C-drama (Chinese); a popular K-drama (South Korean); Spanish dramas; an Egyptian (Arabic) drama; a French drama;  popular American shows such as Game of Thrones; a modern Nollywood drama; and even a Norwegian show.

‘The VMFCP-Social Life Series’ workshops are designed to be 3-4 hours in length to facilitate meaningful learning and socialisation opportunities, wherein the workshops include discussion time, and organised and interactive teaching activities. This should indicate the nature of my teaching and learning style, which is designed to encourage active participation in learning, with the goal of having Christian people understand new theoretical knowledge; comfortably incorporate the knowledge and newly learned skills into their lifestyle, and socialization (a friendly environment to make new friends, which is helpful for shy or lonely people). Therefore, creating a supportive, emotionally safe and welcoming learning environment for new Christian people.

‘The VMFCP – The Social Life Series’ is suited to larger audiences of people, however, the teacher-tutor style format that is used in the APT for educational quality purposes can be maintained by designating a main Instructor, as well as multiple Instructor assistants in a number proportional to the class size (Instructor Assistants are Instructors who act as a tutor to a set number of people i.e. a group table of 4-8 people). This enables Instructors to provide more robust and personalised Christian education.

  • NOTE*: The IPT/APT uses a minimum of 2 new scenes in each workshop for ‘The VMFCP Experience’ teaching and learning activities that are designed to help Apostles, Pastors and Instructors develop a better understanding of human behaviour in relation to identifying motivations, Biblical concepts unrighteousness (sins),  and righteousness (good behaviour) - which enables them to answer questions easier, as they can draw from the learned knowledge (or access the script, which is just more detailed notes that aids in answering related topics. Hence, the script refers to the prompts that are designed to help the instructor with transitions between slides and presenting the onscreen information such as journaling framework examples). As for Instructor support, ‘The VMFCP-Social Life Series’ includes a curriculum overview that provides the workshop details; a summary; relevant topics and a Scripture register; necessary equipment; a schedule (timing guidelines). The curriculum overview was created and designed by me, which was a skill learned through my Master of Teaching (Secondary) degree and refined through my teaching placement experience, and was done to ensure that: 1) new Instructors are well supported; and 2) so that educational processes are efficient.

  • The observation of my general education workshops would also be permitted, which helps reinforce the Instructing standards and procedures; normal and healthy Instructor-student interactions; and  also provides new Instructors with the opportunity to familarise themselves with the learning content i.e. it can help build confidence. The next progressive step could be assisting, and then solo Instructing, which also provides Instructors with the opportunity to familarise themselves with the use of computer technology i.e. an active indirect lesson, but I can teach the relevant IT lessons if required (PowerPoint etc.).  This learning progression is recommended for the clergy who teach other clergy members, and that is because it promotes organisation order and ease of learning, and therefore, a more relaxed environment; which has been done to try and destress the clergy and other Instructors who may be feeling nervous about learning new information (and remembering it all – any memory issues can be treated beforehand). Hence, my education system has been designed to ensure that incompetence is impossible, as does certain gifts of the Holy Spirit i.e. there are spiritual and practical failsafe’s to instructing ability (there is also one more failsafe, but it will not be disclosed).

‘The VMFCP- The Social Life Series’ is currently only available in person, and is only available for the purpose of:

  • Licensed Use in Churches, or Christian Education Institutions for general public use i.e. teaching students.
    • ‘The VMFCP - The Social Life Series’ can only be used by an anointed and trained Instructor who has successfully completed: (1) 'The Basic Educational Psychology & Building The Self Workshop’, (2) The IPT/APT, and (3) The Discipline of Christian Education*

* To further support Christian Instructor standards, ‘The VMFCP - The Social Life Series’ features answers to media related and other questions, and prompts in the notes section of the presentations (otherwise all the necessary information is presented on each slide). The answers to questions and prompts are included to ease Instructors into newly learned information, concepts and procedures. This is also a feature of The IPT/APT, ‘Complications’, the ‘The WOW Bakery’ (read more about it), and essentially all of my work.

Due to the temporary unavailability of The VMFCP website (www.vmfcp.com), a small selection of my eBooks, DMWs  and articles have been made available.

Some eBooks written and developed by me,Chinasom Uzodimma Elekwachi, from The Official & Original VMFCP website. The DMWS were also created and developed by me, Chinasom Uzodimma Elekwachi,  and are from The Official & Original VMFCP website (please ignore the irregular order of the latest additions from the former 'The VMFCP Education Centre', I just added them in the available gaps).

The VMFCP educational theory graphics are from my original  website, vmfcp.com (I still own the domain, along with thevmfcp.com (it’s a silly story, as to why I didn’t use this domain), thejbep.com.au, thejbep.com, and whole host of  domains related to my IP i.e. the full name version of the VMFCP and The JBEP (and much more). This information is available in my IP Australia submissions for ‘The JBEP’, which can be accessed due to freedom of information laws i.e. I submitted a lot of documentation, which is proof of many things (even this website is mentioned in those documents). To be clear, IP Australia said I had 21 days to go to court to appeal the hearing outcome, but I did not, so I don't know why it still says ‘under examination’, as it should have expired by now (they finally published it). Anyway, the whole process was a mess, I got them to admit fault i.e. mistakes in their examinations and their own procedural errors multiple times i.e. the dossier of misconduct is obvious and huge. Hence, I will deal with IP Australia one way or another (at a later time).
